Bonnie and Peter Raquet Scholarship Fund - DO NOT USE; USE ENDOWED FUND INSTEAD

Bonnie and Peter Raquet established the Bonnie and Peter Raquet Scholarship Fund in October 2009. Peter Raquet served as an ordained pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America from 1981 until his retirement in 2007. He served congregations in St. Paul and Minneapolis, Minn.; Geneva, Switzerland; Washington, D.C. and Wisconsin. Peter received B.A. and M.A.L.S. degrees from Valparaiso University and an M.Div. degree from Luther Seminary. Bonnie Raquet is a Corporate Vice President, Corporate Affairs with Cargill, Incorporated, and a member of the Luther Seminary Foundation Board of Trustees. Bonnie received a B.A. from Valparaiso University, an M.A. in History from Cleveland State University and a J.D. (cum laude) from the University of Minnesota Law School. The fund is to be used for students with an undergraduate degree from Valparaiso University with demonstrated financial need who are full-time students in the Master of Divinity program. Second preference is for financially deserving full-time M.A. students who are graduates of Valparaiso. Funds may be distributed annually to incoming first-year students and renewed in following years.
