Dorothy Glesne Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund
The Dorothy Glesne Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in September, 1992, by Dorothy’s husband, Enoch Glesne. Enoch and Dorothy were 1938 graduates of St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn., and were classmates of many excellent candidates for parish ministry who were unable to pursue a seminary education due to financial constraints. Enoch was the son of a Lutheran pastor, and Enoch married Dorothy in the Old Muskego Church on Luther Seminary’s campus. Enoch established this fund to honor the memory of his wife, Dorothy, who died in February, 1990. Enoch died in July, 1993. This fund provides important support for financially deserving graduates of St. Olaf College in their middler or senior years of the M.Div. program.
