Charles Dayton and Shirley Wilson Anderson Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Charles Dayton and Shirley J. Wilson Anderson Endowed Scholarship Fund was established by Charles and Shirley Anderson in 1983 in memory of Charles’s aunt, Ruth Moberg, who helped support him as a seminary student. Charles Anderson is a graduate of Northwestern Seminary, class of 1960, who also served as the Bishop of the Southwestern Minnesota Synod of the ELCA. He has continued to volunteer for and visit Luther Seminary regularly. This fund provides important support for deserving students with financial need.
