Jerry and Lynda Engelhardt Endowed Scholarship Fund at Luther Seminary

Jerry and Lynda established this scholarship fund to help spread the Gospel and to serve and bless others. Lynda felt called early in her life to be a nurse and to help and serve others, and she did that in so many ways through volunteering both in church and outside organizations. Jerry graduated from Purdue and spent his business career in engineering, environmental, governmental relations and management in the pipeline industry. His church involvement included playing piano and organ as well as being involved in finance and church leadership. They always pulled together as a couple to live beneath their means so that they would have money to share, and they were blessed. By supporting those whose passion and focus is on spreading the Gospel and serving others, they feel that they are fulfilling part of God’s plan for their lives.
