Luther E. Hopler Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Luther E. Hopler Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in January, 1997, by the estates of Luther E. and Anne S. Hopler. The Hoplers were active lay leaders in their congregation in the Los Angeles area, who recognized Luther Seminary as an important training ground for future church leaders. They established this fund to express their thanksgiving to God and to help Luther Seminary students prepare to strengthen and extend the ministries of Jesus Christ in the church and the world. This fund provides important support for financially deserving students enrolled in any degree program.
