The Harry N. And Ruth E. Myklebust Endowed Scholarship Fund at Luther Seminary

Harry Myklebust graduated from Bethany College and Augustana Seminary and was ordained a Lutheran pastor in 1954. He served parishes in three states to include Minnesota, Colorado, and Iowa, and then his calling led him to Lutheran Brotherhood Insurance in Wilmar, MN. Ruth received education through Gustavus Adolphus College, Lutheran Bible Institute, Immanuel Deaconess Training, Immanuel Hospital School of Nursing (Omaha), and the University of Minnesota. She was consecrated as a deaconess in 1948 and worked as a nursing instructor, public health nurse, camp nurse, and community health nurse. Harry and Ruth retired in 1988 and spent their summers on Big Wolf Lake in Cass Lake, Minnesota, and their winters in Sun City, Arizona, worshipping at American Lutheran Church.
