Warren and Adeline Sparling Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Warren and Adeline Sparling Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in July, 2002, by Warren and Adeline Sparling. The Sparlings are active lay leaders at their congregation, Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Kalispell, Mont., and recognize Luther Seminary as an important training ground for future church leaders. Warren and Adeline value Lutheran higher education, and also maintain close ties to Trinity Lutheran College in Washington, where Warren served as the chair of their board. Warren and Adeline established this fund to express their thanksgiving to God and to help Luther Seminary students prepare to strengthen and extend the ministries of Jesus Christ in the church and the world. This fund provides important support for financially deserving students with first preference for graduates of Trinity Lutheran College in Washington, second preference for members of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Kalispell, Mont., and third preference for international students planning to serve as pastors in their native countries.
