Lloyd and Annelotte Svendsbye Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Lloyd and Annelotte Svendsbye Endowed Scholarship Fund was established by friends and family of former Luther Northwestern Theological Seminary President Lloyd Svendsbye and his wife Anne. The fund was created in glory to God for the years of service that Dr. Svendsbye rendered to the seminary as its president. He was president from 1974 to 1987 and oversaw the merger of Luther Theological and Northwestern Lutheran Theological Seminaries. The Svendsbyes contributed significant gifts to this fund. Anne died in 2011, Lloyd died in 2014. This fund provides important financial support for deserving students in any degree program.
