Ardyce and Lloyd Peterson Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Ardyce and Lloyd Peterson Endowed Scholarship Fund was established on March 29, 2004, by Ardyce Peterson in memory of her husband, Lloyd. Lloyd and Ardyce were turkey farmers, and Lloyd was recognized nationally for his leadership in the agricultural business. They were active lay leaders in their congregation, Paynesville Lutheran Church in Paynesville, Minn. The fund was established to support the preparation of church leaders with special expertise in children, youth, and family ministry. These leaders will help young people deepen their faith, their knowledge of the Bible, and their ability to share their faith with others. This fund provides important support for deserving students preparing for Children, Youth and Family ministry based either on financial need or on outstanding qualifications to become superior leaders.
