Mary Lee Brammerlo Kunau Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Mary Lee Brammerlo Kunau Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund was established to honor the memory of Mary Lee Brammerlo Kunau who advocated for children in all aspects of her life. Mary grew up in Preston, Iowa. She graduated from the University o fIowa’s College of Nursing, and committer her life to helping people improve their lives. She participated fully in congregational life, and saw the impact of dedicated teachers and ministers on the spiritual development of families and children. In the course of her life, she served as a Sunday school teacher, church council member, and was Bible study member. Mary died on February 15, 2012, after living with cancer for three years. Her energy and joy will be missed. The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarships annually for financially deserving students who are advocates for children, and who are committed to doing ministry with children, youth and families in congregational or academic contexts and are pursuing a degree in the Children, Youth and Family Program.
