John Jr. and Lucille Ostermann Endowed Scholarship Fund

The John Jr. and Lucille Ostermann Endowed Scholarship Fund was established on May 19, 2005, by Shirley and Duane Boyken in memory of Shirley’s parents. The fund was established to give thanks for the blessings of God bestowed on their family and their community of faith and to help Luther Seminary students prepare to extend and share the good news of Jesus Christ during their lives of service to the church. This fund provides important financial support for academically deserving M.Div. students preparing for ordained ministry who are members of an ELCA congregation in Iowa or Minnesota.
