Frank and Mabel Snider Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Frank and Mabel Snider Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund was established as the Frank P. Snider Memorial Scholarship by Mabel Snider and the Rev. Neal E. Snider in December 1967. It was renamed in 1983 to honor the memory of Mabel Snider. The Rev. Neal Snider is the son of Frank and Mabel and is a graduate of Augsburg Seminary, a predecessor of Luther Seminary. Frank was a “humble Christian who accepted God’s grace in Jesus Christ. He was a friend of all men, rich and poor alike. Above everything else, he was faithful in all that he did.” This fund provides important support for financially deserving Master of Divinity students, with preference for students preparing to serve in parish ministry.
