Lennie and Lois Arnevik Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Lennie and Lois Arnevik Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in June, 2000, by Lennie and Lois Arnevik. Lennie retired from working with General Mills in Minneapolis. Lois served as a volunteer at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, Minn., for many years. Lennie and Lois were active lay leaders in their congregation, Normandale Lutheran Church in Edina, and recognized Luther Seminary as an important training ground for future church leaders. Their son, Bruce, is a 1981 graduate of Northwestern Lutheran Theological Seminary. Lennie and Lois established this fund to express their thanksgiving to God and to help Luther Seminary students prepare to strengthen and extend the ministries of Jesus Christ in the church and the world. This fund provides important support for financially deserving Master of Divinity students preparing for pastoral ministry in the Lutheran church.
