Alice Hill Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Alice Hill Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in May, 1990, by the estate of Alice Hill. Alice was raised on a farm outside of Ray, N.D., and was confirmed in Ray Lutheran Church. She and her husband, Earl, were active lay leaders in their congregation, St. Mark Lutheran Church in Lacey, Wash., and recognized Luther Seminary as an important training ground for future church leaders. Alice established this fund to express her thanksgiving to God and to help Luther Seminary students prepare to strengthen and extend the ministries of Jesus Christ in the church and the world. This fund provides important financial support for deserving students enrolled in any degree program.
