Sletten Family Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Sletten Family Endowed Scholarship Fund was established as the Alice J. Sletten Endowed Scholarship Fund by the children of Dr. Melvin O. and Alice J. Sletten in 1990. The Slettens were devoted lay members who raised their children in a Christian home. Their son-in-law, John Quello, is a graduate of Luther Theological Seminary. The fund was established in memory of their mother, Alice, who died in 1986, and the fund name was expanded to honor the memory of their father following his death in 2004. This fund provides important support for financially deserving students in any degree program.
