Master of Sacred Music Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Master of Sacred Music Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in October, 1991 by the people of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, Oakdale, Minn. when the congregation dissolved. The Master of Sacred Music program at Luther Seminary prepares pastoral musicians for service in the church through rigorous musical, historical, and theological study. There are two majors, organ and conducting, offered through this degree program, which is conducted jointly with the music department at St. Olaf College. This fund provides important financial support for deserving students enrolled in the Master of Sacred Music program.
