David Emmanuel Chilstrom Directed Scholarship Fund

The David Emmanuel Chilstrom Directed Scholarship Fund was established with a gift from David’s estate in 2012. Although developmentally challenged because of a brain injury at birth, David was able to pursue common labor, working at a turkey processing plant for a quarter century and then as a custodian at a nursing home until he retired. From his minimum wage earnings he was able to accumulate a modest estate. This fund is one of the beneficiaries of those earnings. David had a vibrant faith and a strong love for his church and his pastors. This fund will provide support for financially deserving Master of Divinity students.
