Alpha M. Wittman Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Alpha M. Wittman Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in May, 1995, by the estate of Alpha Wittman. Alpha was an active lay leader who recognized Luther Seminary as an important training ground for future church leaders. She established this fund to express her thanksgiving to God and to help Luther Seminary students prepare to strengthen and extend the ministries of Jesus Christ in the church and the world. Alpha died in June, 1993. This fund provides important financial support for deserving students, with equal distribution to male and female students.
