E.L. Johnson Endowed Scholarship Fund

The E. Leonard Johnson Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in January, 1975, by the members of Pastor Leonard’s congregation of 43 years, First Lutheran Church in Plano, Ill. Leonard was a 1921 graduate of Northwestern Lutheran Theological Seminary. This fund provides important financial support for students preparing for parish ministry or the mission field of the ELCA with preference for members of First Lutheran Church in Plano, Ill.
