Edward and Golda Leininger Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Edward and Golda Leininger Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in October, 1992, by Golda Leininger. The Leiningers’ son, Jack Leininger, is a personal friend of Luther Theological Seminary’s retired president, Lloyd Svendsbye, he has a Master of Divinity degree, which he received from Luther Theological Seminary in 1976. Golda has served as an active lay leader in her congregation, Zion Lutheran Church in Lewistown, Mont., and has been a longtime friend of the seminary. This fund provides important financial support for deserving students in any degree program.
