Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church, Badger, Minnesota Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church, Badger, Minnesota, Endowed Scholarship Fund was established on January 29, 1980, by the people of Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church. This fund was established in celebration of the congregation’s 80th anniversary, and to fulfill their mission to serve and to provide financial assistance to Luther Seminary students preparing for ministry in the church and world. In 2012 this fund was ammended to be faithful to the intent of the congregation. This fund will provide important support for deserving Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC) students in the M.Div. program, with preference for students from Northern Minnesota, Eastern North Dakota or Manitoba. If a suitable student cannot be identified in any given year, the award will carry forward until a deserving LCMC student can be identified.
