Helmer and Bernice Hanson Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Helmer and Bernice Hanson Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 1981 by John and Barbara Hanson in honor of John’s parents. Helmer was a 1930 graduate of Luther Theological Seminary, and served parishes in Montana, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. The Rev. Dr. Hanson also served on the faculty and as campus pastor at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn. This fund provides important financial support for deserving students in any degree program.
