Peter Boman Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Dr. Peter Boman Endowed Scholarship Fund was established by Peter and Susan Boman in April, 1986. Dr. Boman was an orthopedic surgeon in the Duluth area who served on the Board of Directors and the Foundation Board of Trustees at Luther Seminary. He also served on the Seminary Investment Committee as well as the Luther Northwestern Theological Seminary Board of Directors. He cared deeply about attracting highly qualified students who feel God’s call to serve in ministry and educating them to be effective, caring leaders of Christian communities. Peter died in November, 2008. This fund provides important financial support for deserving students in any degree program.
