Volz Family Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Volz Family Endowed Scholarship Fund was established on June 8, 1999, by Lydia Volz, who served as parish nurse at Luther Seminary, and by students and family in memory of Dr. Carl Volz, longtime professor at Luther Northwestern Theological Seminary. This fund was established to express thanksgiving to God and to help prepare Luther Seminary students to strengthen and extend the ministries of Jesus Christ in the life of the church. This fund provides important support for financially deserving students with preference for students enrolled in a Luther Seminary course in Israel and/or Palestine.
