Gordon and Marilyn Eid Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Gordon and Marilyn Eid Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in December, 1996, by Gordon and Marilyn Eid. The Eids are active lay leaders in their congregation, Normandale Lutheran Church of Edina, Minn., and are interested in maintaining Luther Seminary as a training ground for future church leaders. Gordon is an active volunteer at the seminary and served on the Foundation Board of Trustees from 2004 to 2012. This fund was established to express thanksgiving to God, and to help prepare Luther Seminary students to strengthen and extend the ministries of Jesus Christ in the life of the church. It provides important support for financially deserving M.Div. students preparing for ordination and full-time parish ministry in the ELCA.
