Paul A. Roe Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Rev. Paul A. Roe Endowed Scholarship Fund was established by the members of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Menomonie, Wis., in honor of their senior pastor, Paul Roe, in 1984. Paul Roe received his Master of Divinity degree from Luther Theological Seminary in 1955. He served as a chaplain in the United States Air Force and as pastor of several Lutheran parishes in Wisconsin before being called as the senior pastor at Our Savior’s. In 1984 he received a new call to serve as senior pastor at Como Park Lutheran Church in St. Paul, Minn., from which he retired in 1995. This fund provides important financial support for deserving M.Div. students preparing for ordination and full-time parish ministry in the ELCA.
