Paul M. Youngdahl Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Dr. Paul M. Youngdahl Endowed Scholarship was established on March 27, 2003, by Mount Olivet Lutheran Church in Minneapolis in honor of Dr. Youngdahl and his service to the church. The fund was established to give thanks to God as an expression of Dr. Paul M. Youngdahl’s renewing, unique and exemplary leadership of the largest ELCA congregation. Paul’s commitment to stewardship, churchmanship, youth and family ministry, and to encouraging people to attend Luther Seminary will extend and share the good news of Jesus Christ as these young people devote themselves to Jesus Christ. This fund provides important support for financially deserving students with first preference for Master of Divinity students preparing to serve large congregations, second preference for Master of Divinity students preparing to serve as Youth and Family pastors, and third preference for Minnesota residents.
