Faillettaz Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Faillettaz Endowed Scholarship Fund was established on March 17, 2001, by Vernon and Billie Faillettaz. Vernon is a 1954 graduate of Luther Theological Seminary, and he served as a professor of religion at St. Olaf College. The fund was established to support the preparation of leaders for the church who have a knowledge of, sensitivity to, and commitment to ministry in the inner city. This fund provides important support for financially deserving students preparing for urban or inner-city ministry, coming from an inner city, or having had inner city experience.
