Earl and Anna McGovern Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Earl and Anna McGovern Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in May, 1989, by Florence McGovern to honor the memories of her parents. The McGoverns were active lay leaders who recognized Luther Seminary as an important training ground for future church leaders. Florence established this fund to express her thanksgiving to God and to help Luther Seminary students prepare to strengthen and extend the ministries of Jesus Christ in the church and the world. Earl died in January, 1982, and was predeceased by Anna. Florence died in October, 2005. This fund provides important financial support for deserving students enrolled in any degree program.
