Agnes Runn Endowed Scholarship Fund at Luther Seminary

In memory of his grandmother, David Rutlen established the Agnes Runn Endowed Scholarship Fund in December 2021. Agnes Runn was born in 1894 in Wisconsin and spent most of her life in Virginia, Minnesota. She served as a licensed practical nurse for the public schools and raised two daughters by herself during the Great Depression. She was a woman of strong faith. With the sudden loss of her youngest daughter at the age of 32, she became instrumental to the faith formation of her grandson.
