Jean Ogle Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Jean Ogle Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2009 by Jean Ogle through her will. She was born November 12, 1912, in Darlington, Missouri and died November 18, 2009. Through this scholarship fund, she lived out her Christian faith, stewardship, and desire to help people who feel a call from God to prepare for ministry. Jean lived in Redwood County, Minnesota, and designated the scholarships from this fund for Master of Divinity degree students seeking ordination, regardless of financial need, with a preference for students from her congregation, Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. Her second preference was for Master of Divinity students preparing for ordination from the Scenic Valley Conference of the Southwestern Minnesota synod of the ELCA; and finally, for Master of Divinity students from any location.
