Kermit and Jane Hanson Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Kermit and Jane Hanson Endowed Scholarship Fund was established on June 4, 2003, by Kermit and Jane Hanson. Kermit is a 1938 graduate of Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, who was active on Luther College’s debate team. The Hansons established this fund to give thanks for the blessings of God and to help Luther Seminary students prepare to extend and share the good news of Jesus Christ during their lives of service to the church and the world. This fund provides important support for financially deserving students with preference for students who graduated from Luther College, Decorah, Iowa.
