Marvin D. Anderson Family Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Marvin D. Anderson Family Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in October, 2005, by the estate of Marvin Anderson. The fund was established to give thanks to God as an expression of his stewardship and to help Luther Seminary students prepare to extend and share the good news of Jesus Christ during their lives of service to the church. Marvin lived most of his life in St. Paul, Minn., where he was a member of First Lutheran Church. He worked as a mechanical engineer for 36 years and then retired to San Diego. This fund provides support for financially deserving students with first preference for M.Div. students who are members of the ELCA and second preference for members of the ELCA.
