James and Jackie Schack Endowed Scholarship Fund

The James and Jackie Schack Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in May, 2005, by James and Jackie Schack. The Schacks are active lay leaders in their congregation, Zion Lutheran Church in Kent, Wash., and recognize Luther Seminary as an important training ground for future church leaders. James is retired from owning the family concrete business, and he and Jackie enjoy traveling extensively. This fund was established to provide important support for financially deserving students, with preference for members of Zion Lutheran Church in Kent, Wash.
