West Nidaros L.C. Art Moe End Scholarship

The West Nidaros Lutheran Church, Crooks, South Dakota – Art Moe Endowed Scholarship Fund was established to honor the faithful Christian witness provided by Art Moe, a lifelong dedicated member of West Nidaros Lutheran Church. Art was committed to the mission of the church, particularly the investment in its youth. He was a faithful steward of the land, nurturing his farmstead through generations. Art’s ready smile and lively conversation marked him as a friend to all. He used his woodworking skills to create a ? scale replica of the original Nidaros church building which stands today as a monument to his craftsmanship. His generosity to the West Nidaros Lutheran church both while living and upon his death has been and continues to be a great blessing to the life and work of the congregation. This scholarship was established to provide important support for M.Div students preparing to be leaders in the church.
