Thomas Hovland Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Thomas Hovland Endowed Scholarship Fund was established by an estate gift from Thomas Hovland in 1984. Thomas was an active lay leader in his congregation who recognized Luther Seminary as an important training ground for future church leaders. He established this fund to express his thanksgiving to God and to help Luther Seminary students prepare to strengthen and extend the ministries of Jesus Christ in the church and the world. This fund provides important financial support for deserving students.
