Gronberg / Hendrickson Family Fund

The Gronberg/Hendrickson Family Endowed Scholarship Fund at Luther Seminary was established in 2013 in memory of Rev. Albert and Mrs. Merle Mattson Hendrickson and Pastor A.A. and Mrs. Esther Peterson Gronberg and in thanksgiving for Erik K.J. Gronberg upon his graduation from Luther Seminary and ordination into the ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. This fund provides scholarships annually for a financially deserving student who is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University, or is a member of a congregation in the synods of the states of Washington and Oregon including the Northwest Washington Synod (1B), Southwestern Washington Synod (1C), Eastern Washington-Idaho Synod (1D), and the Oregon Synod (1E); or any financially deserving student.
