Richard and Gloria Koester Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Richard and Gloria Koester Endowed Scholarship Fund was established on July 12, 1999, by the Rev. Dr. Craig Koester and his family members Paula, Scott, and Todd in memory of their parents Richard and Gloria Koester. Craig is a 1980 graduate of Luther Theological Seminary, and he currently serves as Academic Dean and Professor of New Testament at Luther Seminary. His wife, Nancy, is also a graduate of Luther Theological Seminary. They created the fund to express thanksgiving to God, and to help prepare Luther Seminary students to strengthen and extend the ministries of Jesus Christ in the life of the church. This fund provides important support for financially deserving full-time M.Div. students.
