Dennis V. and Louise B. Griffin Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Dennis V. and Louise B. Griffin Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in December, 1999, by the Rev. Dennis and Louise Griffin. Dennis grew up in Manitowoc, Wis., and graduated from St. Olaf College. He graduated from Luther Theological Seminary in 1959. During his ministry, Dennis has been active as a parish pastor, as well as serving as Vice President for Development at St. Olaf College and Capitol University in Columbus, Ohio and working with Lutheran Social Services. Since his retirement, he has been active in serving as an interim pastor and in pulpit-supply preaching. This fund was established to celebrate the occasion of his retirement from the ministry, and provides important support for financially deserving students enrolled in any degree program.
