Marie Toenges Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Marie Toenges Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in July, 1989, by the estate of Marie Toenges, following her death in October, 1988, at the age of ninety-six. Marie was an active lay leader in her congregation, Concordia Lutheran Church of Pickerel Lake, Minn., who wanted to strengthen Luther Seminary as an important training ground for the future leaders of the church. This fund provides financial support for deserving students enrolled in any degree program.
