Alvin Rondestvedt Snesrud Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Alvin Rondestvedt Snesrud Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in the 1960s by Agnes Snesrud to honor her son. Agnes’s husband, Alvin A. Snesrud, was a 1928 graduate of Luther Theological Seminary. Agnes and Alvin’s son, Alvin Rondestvedt Snesrud, is memorialized by this fund. Agnes established this fund to express her thanksgiving to God and to help Luther Seminary students prepare to strengthen and extend the ministries of Jesus Christ in the church and the world. Agnes died in July, 1980, and was predeceased by her husband. Alvin Rondestvedt Snesrud died in July, 1993. This fund provides important financial support for deserving students enrolled in any degree program.
