Arndahl Lutheran Church Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Arndahl Lutheran Church Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund was established on September 23, 1991, by the people of Arndahl Lutheran Church in Grove City, Minn. Arndahl Lutheran was established in 1868 and had shared ministry with other congregations from the time it was organized. In 1977, it officially became part of a two-point parish system with Immanuel Lutheran in Grove City. After Arndahl’s building was destroyed in a fire in November, 1990, the congregation shared a building with Immanuel, and in mid-1991, the two congregations merged with a third congregation, First Lutheran, to form a new congregation, Trinity Lutheran Church. As a witness to their resurrection faith, a portion of the proceeds from the insurance settlement was used to fund this scholarship. This fund provides important support for deserving students enrolled in any degree program.
