Antti Lepisto Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Pastor Antti Lepisto Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in November, 2006, by Antti’s former parishioners, Jerry and Annette Johns, in appreciation for Antti’s ministry. Antti was a 1961 graduate of Northwestern Lutheran Theological Seminary and served for many years at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in De Kalb, Ill. He then accepted a call to work as a consultant for the ELCA, conducting seminars in congregations and synods regarding conflict management and the Myers-Briggs program. He was also active in supporting the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ingria in Russia, the companion synod of the Northeastern Minnesota Synod of the ELCA. This fund provides important support for financially deserving students, with preference for students from the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ingria in Russia.
