Dean Family Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Dean family Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in October, 1997, by Ned and Kathy Dean. Both Ned and Kathy have long been passionate about the church and helping to support Christians around the world. They found a partner in this mission within Luther Seminary. They were so supportive of Luther Seminary that Ned became a member of the Luther Seminary Foundation Board of Trustees. Ned and Kathy saw the seminary as crucial to the preparation of leaders for the Christian church not only in the United States but globally. The Dean Family has an interest in the support of international students coming to Luther Seminary and wanted to make their studies here economically feasible. This fund provides important financial support for deserving international students, with preference for students from Nigeria.
