Wiemer Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Wiemer Endowed Scholarship Fund was established by Elmer E. and Lucille Wiemer in 1977. The Wiemers were active lay members of their congregation in Boone, Iowa, and saw the seminary as a training ground for future church leaders. Their son, Marlin, is a 1962 graduate of Luther Theological Seminary. The fund was established to ensure the education of future generations of church leaders. This fund provides important financial support for deserving students in any degree program.
