Lea and Elsie Wildung Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Lea and Elsie Wildung Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in August, 1986, by Elsie Wildung to honor the memory of her husband. The Wildungs were active lay leaders who recognized Luther Seminary as an important training ground for future church leaders. Elsie established this fund to express her thanksgiving to God and to help Luther Seminary students prepare to strengthen and extend the ministries of Jesus Christ in the church and the world. Lea died in November, 1967. Elsie died in May, 1996. This fund provides important financial support for deserving students enrolled in any degree program.
