Abel B. Swan Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Abel B. Swan Student Aid Fund was established by the estate of the Rev. Abel B. Swan. Abel was a 1924 graduate of Luther Theological Seminary. He established this fund to express his thanksgiving to God and to help Luther Seminary students prepare to strengthen and extend the ministries of Jesus Christ in the church and the world. This fund provides important financial support for deserving first-year second-career students enrolled in the M.A., M.S.M., or M.Div. programs (Quest Merit Scholars).
